Latest news

The 2024 Dare to Care Dash (formerly the Run for the Poor) was successfully held on June 8th.  The race featured a strong field of 392 runners, a record number for the 30 years of our race.  We are already planning the 31st running of the race and will have a date shortly.  Come back to this site for details.  Thanks again for supporting our mission to help the neighbors in need in our southwest Ohio area.

Like last year, this event featured a formation flyover by the Clermont Warbirds.  Adding to the festivities was a stirring rendition of the National Anthem by famous professional soprano Maria Sunnenberg .  It all came together for another great event.  View the “Quick Clip” above to see the highlights of the race.  If you have any input for how we could make the race better, send us your views using the Contact info below.

If you are a participant, click here to view a video of all the runners, walkers, and riders.

Lastly, we ask that you continue to support our fantastic sponsors.  Proceeds from this event help fund the St. Martin Council of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.  The St. Martin Council serves our neighbors in Adams, Brown, Clermont, Clinton, Highland, and Warren Counties.
