Latest news

The 29th Annual Run for the Poor was successfully held on June 10, 2023 featuring a strong field of runners and some fantastic weather.  We are now planning for the 30th running of the event, now called the Dare to Care Dash.  We have rebranded the race to provide more focus on the true mission of our society: helping the marginalized of our community in southwest Ohio.

Like last year, this event featured a formation flyover by the Clermont Warbirds.  Adding to the festivities was a stirring rendition of the National Anthem  rendered by famous professional soprano Maria Sunnenberg .  It all came together for another great Run for the Poor!

We have begun planning for this year’s event which will be held on June 8th, 2024.  We hope to again have a formation flyover by the Clermont Warbirds.  Registrations are now open (you can use the Register button below).  If you have any input for how we could make the race better, send us your views using the Contact info below.
